Technical/Vocational Scholarship

The Designing Women Scholarship Program is designed to promote educational opportunities for women who are residents of Southeast Missouri. This is a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship separated into two payments ($500 at the beginning of year and $500 upon completion of one semester). In order to receive the second disbursement, a 2.5 or higher grade point average must be achieved in the first semester. The scholarship may be used by a graduating PBHS senior, a Poplar Bluff Technical-Career graduating senior, or a Black River Beauty College student entering the cosmetology program.

Eligibility:

Must be female
Must be enrolled and fulltime (status verified by college, university, or technical school)

Priority application deadline: February 1, 2025, Scholarship applications received after the deadline may not be considered. Mail to: Designing Women Foundation, P.O. Box 104, Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63902. The $1,000 scholarships are limited to female seniors at Poplar Bluff (MO) High School or Career Center.. This is a confidential form - provided information is only used to determine eligibility for the scholarship.
